Book Stack Updates

Thanks to my sister, this year we did a book swap over Christmas. My brother got my copy of Cloud Atlas (along with belated Halloween care package insert Old School). My sister got Happy Baby. I got three books (seen at right): Goodnight, Nebraska, When We Were Orphans and The Seville Communion. I’m still going through (and loving) The Recognitions and tyring to fit in time for The Double and Doubt: A History.
This is a good a time as any to announce my new links, should you care.
I switched the book list at right from amazon links to Powell’s links. I still need to put back books I am still reading from the old amazon list. Music links now lead to Barnes & Noble. If they don’t carry it, I try to find a link elsewhere.
Of course, I should mention that I prefer to buy books in person at Modern Times and music from Aquarius. But when it comes to saving on S&H for gifts, I am a sucker for the information superhighway.
