Drworm_cap001_3I had the pleasure of seeing They Might Be Giants’ free in-store performance at the Union Square Borders last  Sunday. As always, the Johns were affable and engaging. Of course, they were there to promote their latest DVD Here Come the ABCs, but announced they were amenable to signing whatever books the Borders shoppers may have picked up, citing a particular affinity for Garrison Keillor. They did a brief set that mixed the kids’ with the grown ups’ songs - a distinction that is ambiguous and arbitrary when you consider songs such as Robot Parade vs Particle Man. They closed the set with one of my favorites, Dr. Worm, which I present to you as a torrent. I also have a video of Robot Parade which I will post if this torrent thing seems to work.
