Is “eyebrows” a euphemism for “muff”?
The New York Times recently reported that trend-setting stylists from Milan, Italy, and Paris to New York and Beverly Hills, Calif., are unleashing the hairy eyebrow as this fall’s beauty signature – in a way not seen since Brooke Shields’ 1978 feral brow.
But local estheticians reassure that today’s hairy brow isn’t that hairy: It’s somewhere between the bushy Brooke brow of the ’70s and the severe, thin, “Beverly Hills, 90210″ brow of the ’90s.
