Tito’s Dream

I am at The Waiting Room1 for a brew-n-view double feature of sorts. First there is a screening of The Simpsons Movie, which takes about 5 minutes. Immediately following, the screen is lifted to reveal a 4 piece band featuring: Mike Watt on bass, Eddie Van Halen on guitar, and Dee Snider on lead vocals. An unidentifiable drummer does an admirable job. At one point, Snider pulls me on stage to sing a song, to which I know half the words and consequently fumble around. After my poor showing, the band continues on as I go to the bar to get a Rolling Rock, where David Lee Roth tells me I should have filled in the parts I didn’t know with slow-motion drum kit jumps with karate kicks.
